About Me...
Nick Eibler originally hails from Chicago, Illinois but has spent most of his time growing up in the Atlanta, Georgia area. He first discovered his love of performing through watching his family's VHS collection of Disney movies and Rodgers and Hammerstein movie musicals as a kid. Next came a slew of dance classes, voice lessons, and numerous children's shows. This eventually led up to him being awarded the Georgia High School Musical Theatre award for best actor his senior year of high school. He is an alumni of Texas State University Musical Theatre department, under the direction of Kaitlin Hopkins. At TXST, he also worked under the direction of Jim Price, Cassie Abate, Nick Lawson, Michael and Marqui Maresca, Lauren Lane, and Kiira Schmidt-Carper. Nick first made his professional debut in the Alliance Theatre production of Twist: an American Musical, directed by Debbie Allen and then went on to perform the show at the Pasadena Playhouse as well. Since then he has worked at various professional theatres--Music Theatre Wichita, Theatre Under the Stars, etc. as well as performing in various shows at Texas State. In addition to performing, Nick also has a strong passion for directing, producing, and working on the "other side of the table." He has directed various one acts at Texas State, as well as directing and producing Texas State's first annual Broadway Backwards Cabaret. When he isn't performing, Nick enjoys reading an array of books, splurging on RuPaul's Drag Race, religiously watching and listening to Beyoncé, viewing all the learning about all things Queer history, and doing a light workout on the Peloton. He is also the host of the podcast Queer Queeries: a conversational podcast that aims to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and educate everyone on what makes us more than just rainbows, clack fans, and tea. Nick is currently living in NYC pursuing his dream of being an actor.
